A leading professional services firm would like to bring on board a dynamic and business savvy senior finance professional to head the finance function as the Chief Financial Officer.
The CFO would be a strong leader responsible to provide functional and strategic direction to the finance, accounting, taxation, MIS, legal and compliance functions of the company.
- The individual will interface regularly with peers and other members of the company's senior management team to ensure all elements of financial operations are of the highest ethical standards, quality and accuracy, and based on compliance as defined by the Company, the Board of Directors and the Company's financial auditors.
- The position will have an organization of approximately 8-10 reporting into him/her directly/indirectly.
- The individual will also manage the company's relationships with its financial stakeholders, besides supervising and providing direction to the company's finance team, who are responsible for the routine financial operations of the company.
- The position calls for a high degree of participation in the business MIS, planning, decision making and execution of the company's strategic plan and operations.
Strategic Partnering:
- Advice the Chairman/CEO/COO and other executives on the financial implications and risks related to key issues and important strategic decisions; keep them posted, on a timely basis, regarding ongoing financial condition of the organization.
- Proactively partner with the executive leadership to create and execute a business strategy that achieves the organizations business and financial goals and participating in all key business decisions.
Financial Controls:
- Provide leadership to the overall finance function, ensuring that the function is properly organized, staffed, developed and motivated. Lead and drive all aspects of effective financial management for the company, and optimizing the use of capital.
- Drive, in a hands-on manner, the full array of financial functions including fund raising, cash management, working capital management, corporate finance, control, audit, financial planning & analysis, and investor relations.
- Ensure that all regulatory reporting and compliance obligations are met in a timely manner. Put in place a robust MIS reporting system, thus ensuring complete visibility to the day-to-day business.
- Protecting the assets of the group by looking at insurance coverage's from time-to-time. Handling tax litigations and overseeing all direct and indirect tax implications on business.
- Maintain strong relationships by sharing appropriate financial information on a regular basis.
- Build and enhance credibility of Group by directing the timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, financial trends and dissemination of financial data to appropriate channels.
- Play a key role in building and strengthening the working relationship with regulators, bankers and auditors.

Qualification: CA with 8 -15 years experience with atleast 4 years as a Finance Head, experience in accounts is a CA firm would be preferred.
