Chief Financial Officer
Position Overview:
The Group CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring its continued financial success. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership roles, including experience in IPOs or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a stock market-listed company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial leadership to the executive team and the board of directors.
- Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
IPO Expertise:
- If applicable, leverage experience in IPOs to guide the company through the process of going public or managing post-IPO financial strategies.
- Work closely with legal, accounting, and investment banking teams during IPO preparation and execution.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Oversee financial analysis and reporting to support key business decisions.
- Monitor financial performance against established KPIs and benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Risk Management:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets.
- Stay updated on industry and market trends to mitigate potential risks.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
- Effectively communicate the company's financial performance and strategy to external stakeholders.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Maintain transparency and integrity in financial disclosures.
Qualifications:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 20 years of overall professional experience in finance and accounting.
- Proven track record of at least 4 years in a stock market-listed company or experience leading the financial aspects of an IPO.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and enhance shareholder value.
