Client Details:

Our Client is a leading pharmaceutical major, looking for an experienced CFO who can contribute to the growth and development of the organization while leading and managing the

corporate finance function.

Job Description:

Corporate Finance & Strategy:

- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational objectives.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Taxation:

- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance and planning.

- Manage tax audits and assessments, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Treasury Management:

- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk effectively.

- Optimize working capital and ensure efficient use of financial resources.

Corporate Accounting & Reporting:

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Establish and maintain robust accounting policies and controls.

Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and company policies.

- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring a high standard of compliance.

Auditing:

- Lead internal and external audit processes to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.

- Implement audit recommendations to strengthen financial controls.

Finance Control:

- Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring operational efficiency.

Fundraising & Investor Relations:

- Have excellent network and relationships with Banks/Investors etc. to manage fundraising initiatives when required, particularly for acquisitions and expansion plans.

- Prepare investor presentations and other materials for fundraising activities.

Candidate Background and Educational Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with post qualification experience of 20-25 years is mandatory.

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role within a company.

- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards.

- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Candidate Background:

- Should have worked in Pharmaceutical / OTC, Engineering, Chemicals (Manufacturing

Organizations) and managed topline close to or above 1000 Crores.

- Work experience in a Promoter driven organization/s is preferred.

- Should be a native of Chennai/Tamil Nadu and Tamil Fluency is mandatory for this role.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
