Position Overview:

- A CFO (Chief Financial Officer) is responsible for managing the financial actions of a company. They are responsible for tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. CFOs also manage tax planning and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

- A financial controller is responsible for overseeing a business's day-to-day financial operations. They are responsible for accurate financial statements and efficient accounting processes. The role of the financial controller varies with the size of the business.

- In small companies, controllers are mostly involved in detailed accounting tasks that are beyond the skills of the company's bookkeepers. In midsize enterprises, where responsibilities are broadest, financial controller duties are likely to include project management, technology, and insurance and compliance functions.

- A suitable candidate for this position should have:

- A first attempt CA.

- 15-20 years of experience in finance management.

- At least 3 years of experience as a finance controller in a company with a turnover of 100 crore or more.

- Strong knowledge of cash flow management, compliances, taxation, internal audit and external audit, balance sheets, finance processes and automation, and funding via debt and equity.
