ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and implementing the Company's fiscal functions, including bank relationships and management of Cash flows.
- Manage treasury, finance, accounting, tax and compliance functions with the necessary processes and internal controls to safeguard the corporate assets..
- Responsible for the preparation of financial statements under IGAAP and IFRS, financial reports& MIS reports. Provide budgets and financial reports to assist the Board / Committee and other executives with their responsibilities.
- Continually improve the timeliness and accuracy of the Company's cash flow and management of the billing and collections process and month end, quarterly and year end closings
- Oversees risk and corporate insurance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all Direct / Indirect tax laws & reporting requirements and compliances & payments under other applicable statutory laws (like PF, ESIC, labour laws, Mandi / APMC, etc.).
- Ensuring Adherence to Compliance with Group Compliance policies and timely reporting on compliances.
- Recommend and manage Company relationship with outside financial consultants.
- Oversee financial elements of strategic partnership and/or M&A efforts
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :
- Chartered Accountant with at least 10 years of experience of which 5-8 years must be in a financial leadership role, having supervised a team of minimum 5-10 persons.
- Manufacturing experience will be an added preference.
- Experience in similar industry is desirable but not compulsory.
- IFRS accounting experience preferred.
