- Provide strategic financial direction and functions to achieve business targets
- Develop strategic business and / or operational plans, projects, programs and systems as part of Senior Management
- Ensure optimum management of corporate funds through effective treasury management and compliance
- Finalize capital structure and develop funding options/sources, with adequate contingency mechanisms
- Develop a framework of financial metrics for implementing Corporate Strategy and enabling financial control.
- Develop and monitor adherence to budgets for the Finance department.
Customer
- Develop and deploy action plans to boost India Home loan valuation and market capitalization in the long-term.
- Represent the company externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies and the general public.
- Work with Marketing Team to finalize competitive schemes related to various product offerings and assist the various departments in pricing decisions.
- Periodically review the limits of authority document to drive financial discipline.
- Closely monitor cash flows and take necessary steps to ensure continuous availability of working capital
Internal Processes
- Develop financial models and valuation scenarios with regard to potential transactions
- Provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations
- Guide the Risk Management team in the development of risk mitigation strategies based on analysis of risk elements and prepare action plans for the same at an organizational level
- Ensure corporate governance with regards to financial and other matters
- Direct the development, maintenance, and implementation of all accounting policies and procedures in compliance with accounting standards
- Review, consolidate and finalize annual accounts and submit for board approval
- Manage corporate taxation and compliance with allied laws to ensure that the organization's finances are accurately reported and taxes optimized
- Co-ordinate with statutory auditors to ensure annual accounts are audited as per schedule
- Review reports from Risk Management and Internal Audit teams to identify non-compliance areas and ensure related closures/escalations
- Monitor and guide the internal audit and risk management team to ensure an integrated approach to the assessment of risk compliance

- Play an active role in the recruitment of incumbents into Senior managerial positions
- Identify and be actively involved in high potential talent identification and development
- Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members
- Oversee capability building for the team and mentor and groom high-potential subordinates
