Chief Financial Officer
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preparing all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
- Oversee treasury function
- Preparing various notes for submission to the Audit Committee/Board
- Regular review of operating expenses, fixed assets register, capitalisation of fixed assets.
- Co-ordinate, review and provide support through appropriate inputs/financials to the teams for the Monthly/quarterly/yearly MIS reporting.
- Implementation of accounting related projects in various systems like billing software and Tally accounting and also providing ongoing support for accounting related matters across the systems
- Process improvements, risks and controls assessment from the financial reporting perspective.
- Building controls around GLs to prevent fraudulent/misuse of GLs, rationalization of GL accounts and Chart of Accounts.
- Automation of manuals activities/compilation of data, system enhancements from accounting perspective
