Chief Financial Officer

We have been retained by the Bank of Bhutan and we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Bank.

- Candidates must be a CA/CPA or Post Graduate Masters (Finance or Accounting or Financial Management) with minimum 12 - 16 years of experience in providing finance and accounting related services in banking domain.

- You must have prior experience in Commercial Banking, with exposure of working with senior management decision making teams. You must have a strong system and process approach and ability to work with multi disciplinary teams to achieve business objectives. You must have a hands on and independent approach and should be able to work with minimal or no supervision.

- This is a top management position and you must have a strategic vision and the ability to translate the same into action. Candidates must have experience in Asset Liability Management, Risk Management, Treasury and Strategic financial planning/ capital budgeting. The above assignment shall be on contract and for a minimum period of 3 years extended further by mutual consent.

- The work involves substantial amount of planning, study, creativity, originality and attitude for detailed analysis of issues & situations. It also involves dealing with complex issues sometimes falling outside guidelines where one has to use one’s judgment in the assessment of the need, implications and execution and working under pressure and deadlines and preparation of work plans, formulation, coordination and implementation of policies and project of the Company.

- The incumbent will also be responsible for creating and managing working relationships with Banks within and outside Bhutan, software and Hardware Vendors, Central Bank and other regulatory bodies, Customers, Bank of Bhutan Employees and other Companies and businesses houses.
