Also the non-finance expertise area of procurement will need to be covered. Priorities for the role include : - Leadership: The CFO will lead the finance function and proactively drive change in the wider company. - Co-drive & ensure the business: Provide insight into the drivers for value creation and is the business partner in making business decisions that enhance performance of the company and align, improve, execute and promote the financial systems and work processes that support the business in achieving its goals and that comply to internal and external standards and regulatory requirements. - Business Essentials: Apply business knowledge (connecting to our core values, strategy and business principles; business concepts; field steering; global client solutions; industry essentials; market intelligence), communicate effectively and with impact (including business English); effective written and verbal communication; and presentations); able to manage projects (ensure projects are well thought through; involve the right people; engage commitment of project team members, plan and ensure smooth operation of project team; and implementation of project and follow up of results) - Business Control: Have and maintain solid understanding about all aspects that are part of the Planning & Control cycle and Strategy development and that also involve reporting to Holding. Be effective in your role as finance professional and business partner. Co-drive and support the strategy development process and co-determine where to grow, how to grow and what to target. Advice on potential opportunity and risk areas to support management in strategic decision making to enhance sustainability of financial performance of current and future organization. Monitor, assess and advise on (operating) performance and financial indicators against corporate strategy, market best practices and competitors- trends. Be an active member of the regional and global (finance) community and drive collaborative change together through common initiatives and programs. - Accounting & Control: Accounting & Control is the backbone of ensuring the business; large part of our core processes fit within this. Align, continuously improve, execute and promote the financial systems and work processes according requirements. Ensure proper financial reporting and tax accounting to Holding for internal and external reporting purposes. - Expert roles: Expert finance roles (tax, treasury, risk & audit, mergers & acquisitions), and the non-finance expert role within the field of responsibility of the CFO (procurement, as above; corporate services, HRSSC, Global Operations Finance/SSC & Legal). - Tax: responsible for Tax compliance in the organization, and is ensured via tax filings, tax returns and follow-up audits - Treasury: cash flow forecasting and management (execution of payments and collections, liquidity management, and maintaining bank accounts) and reporting to Holding. - Business risk & audit: ensure adequate internal control environment. - M&A: local involvement in M&A activities involves market mapping activities to support strategic development, pre-transaction strategic discussions and in the integration phase. - Procurement: all activities to meet the need for goods, services and information of the internal customers in an optimal way with clients and distributors. - Legal: support contract reviews and code of conduct adherence.. - Global Operations Finance: Offshore shared services supporting the India Business on transactional functions - Shared Services : mid office & back-end support team for processes related to onboarding, payrolling and offboarding EW's with an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement. key performance indicators: - The CFO is accountable for the achievement of business targets. - Impact on business results to reach growth targets; GP, EBITA % and incremental conversion - Head/mid office costs as a % of revenues - DSO and bad debts - Accurate and quality forecasting - Timely and correct financial information - Other commercial objectives as per need of the business - The CFO is the business partner who navigates the business towards value creation and maintains the relationships with the business and the holding departments. - According to our World League Finance development programs is responsible for the development of the finance team and contributes to the development of the global finance community Your background experience : - The ideal candidate has 15+ years working experience in a large multinational, from which 8-10 year in finance management positions (managing teams both directly and indirectly). - The candidate should ideally have global experience and mindset, both at operating company (professional services businesses) as well as corporate level, have competition/market knowledge and best practices to share (both external and internal). He or she has a proven track record of strategic development and business planning, knowledge of accounting & controlling and overall understanding of other finance disciplines (tax, treasury, risk & audit and M&A).
