Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (B2B CleanTech Financing)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 5-8 years in experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a publicly listed company on NSE/BSE

Arthmate is a dynamic and rapidly growing financial services firm, revolutionizing the CleanTech (EVs, Solar, Sustainable Materials, etc) lending landscape. The company specializes in providing innovative financing solutions to customers through strategic partnerships with various companies and startups. The company seeks a motivated and experienced CFO to join our subsidiary firm.

Responsibilities:

- Set-up the finance function for the NBFC, and work on developing policies, procedures & best practices within the team.

- Lead the entire gamut of finance, across financial reporting, accounting, taxation, treasury & financial planning functions.

- Prepare and present financial reports and updates for board meetings and investor discussions, managing regular reporting relationships with existing investors.

- Lead due diligence, deal negotiation, and documentation in collaboration with external consultants.

- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, and our partners.

- Work closely with the business team, and identify/ evaluate avenues for new business acquisition & development with financial modeling.

- Ensure sound financial governance and help prepare for the next funding round or for intermediary fundraising.

- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry best practices.

- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk effectively to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Oversee the firm's annual financial budgeting, forecasting, and review processes

- Manage and oversee the financial diligence regarding Direct and Indirect taxes, including Income Tax, Tax withholding, and GST.

Good to Have:

- Master's degree/ MBA in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CA and CS preferred.

- Prior 5+ years of progressive experience in a publicly traded company in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the Lending Marketplace/ Financing industry

- Managing relationships with investors, banks, NBFCs, and auditors.

- Hands-on experience working across functions within finance, strategy & business verticals.

- Proven track record in driving profitability, and implementing cost-optimization initiatives.
