Chief Financial Officer - Art Auction Industry

Role:

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies, overseeing fiscal performance, and providing strategic financial guidance to ensure sustainable growth in the art auction sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Take ownership of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's goals.

Financial Operations:

- Oversee treasury operations to ensure efficient cash flow management.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Taxation and Compliance:

- Manage GST and taxation matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Lead the finalization of financial statements and the closure of the balance sheet.

Audit and Risk Management:

- Oversee the audit process, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

- Assess and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust risk management strategies.

Working Capital and Treasury:

- Effectively manage working capital to optimize liquidity and financial stability.

- Monitor and strategize treasury activities to maximize returns and minimize risk.

Process Optimization:

- Streamline financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Facilitate informed financial decision-making through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

- Present financial insights to the executive team, assisting in strategic planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

- A seasoned professional with minimum 5 yrs as heading finance and accounts

- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive financial leadership role.

- Deep understanding of financial operations in the art auction industry.

- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
