Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for managing the financial strategy of the company. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, including accounting, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring sustainable growth and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth and long-term objectives, ensuring profitability and sustainability.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO/Board of Directors to support decision-making.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant regulations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting process, aligning financial plans with business objectives.

- Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and strategic needs.

- Develop strategies for working capital management and cost optimization.

Risk Management & Governance:

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and statutory compliance.

- Ensure adherence to financial and regulatory obligations, including GST, Income Tax Act, and other Indian legal requirements.

Corporate Governance & Compliance:

- Maintain strong corporate governance and financial discipline within the organization.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Board of Directors and regulatory authorities.

Leadership & Team Development:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Implement best practices in financial management and operational efficiency.

Investor & Stakeholder Communication:

- Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, auditors, and other key stakeholders.

- Ensure transparent communication regarding financial performance and strategic plans.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

- Oversee tax planning and ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations, including GST, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.

- Liaise with tax authorities and auditors to ensure smooth regulatory interactions.

Mergers & Acquisitions:

- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.

- Provide financial due diligence and strategic guidance on expansion initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

- 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in the electronics distribution sector.

- Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, Ind AS, taxation, and corporate governance.

- Proven track record in financial planning, risk management, and driving business growth.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
