Position Overview:
- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy and operations of one of our Automotive MNC, ensuring the company's financial health and supporting its growth objectives.
- This role involves overseeing financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting while aligning financial strategies with the company's long-term vision in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and business performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to inform decision-making.
- Provide insights on financial performance and operational efficiency to the executive team.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial results to the board of directors and stakeholders.
Treasury and Risk Management:
- Manage the company's treasury functions, including cash flow, investments, and financing strategies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial stability.
Operational Oversight:
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance across the organization.
- Lead financial audits and manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the finance function.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives to expand the company's footprint in the automotive sector.
- Engage with investors, analysts, and financial institutions to enhance the company's reputation and access to capital.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in the automotive industry or a related manufacturing sector.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and corporate finance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in financial management software and ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
