Position Description:.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) IBU will report to the Sector CFO and will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring effective financial management, audit compliance, and strategic planning.
Role & Responsibilities:.
Business Plan Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Planning (CP) team to execute business plans effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Control:
- Manage the finance function to achieve targets within approved budgets, working closely with the plant team to control costs and optimize resources.
Production and Sales Oversight:
- Ensure production and sales activities align with estimates and business plans, engaging with plant and marketing teams to optimize performance.
Business Proposal Analysis:
- Analyze and verify business proposals, providing accurate information to management for informed decision-making.
Audit Compliance:
- Lead efforts to close open points in implementation trackers and improve Audit Ratings, ensuring stringent controls in customer proposal approvals.
Vendor Management:
- Monitor vendor aging and ensure timely payments, negotiating cost-effective procurement in coordination with the purchase team.
Capex Control:
- Control capital expenditures within budgetary limits, reviewing with top management and overseeing the closure of ongoing Capex projects.
SOP Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and business plans, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure timely adherence to statutory compliances, overseeing audits including SOX, Tax, and Cost.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 10 to 12 years of extensive experience in overall finance functions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, adept at effectively interacting with stakeholders, articulating financial strategies, and influencing decision-making.
- Experience in the metal and mining or manufacturing sectors is mandatory.
- Minimum team handling expertise of 30 (direct + indirect) for CFO.
