Chief Finance Officer - CA - eCommerce

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for this planned e-commerce venture.

Position Reporting: CEO

Job Purpose: To provide broad-based finance, commercial, compliance/ legal, and administrative (office and related services) leadership to the organization. Conceptualize and build finance, commercial, and accounting systems and processes, including financial controls. Oversee administrative requirements of office facilities, including procurement requirements for office and administrative expenditure. Head the Legal/ Compliance function of the organization

Principal Accountabilities :

To build high quality finance & accounting policies, system & processes

Establish budgeting systems and process, and suitable financial controls

Ensure timely reporting, including all statutory matters, risk & audit compliance.

Define & implement all financial reporting/ MIS

Lead procurement for office and administrative expenditure (and conclude in consultation with CEO)

Contribute in high value, important commercial negotiations

Liaise with Group Legal on all matters of compliance and legal

Core Skills :

Knowledge of key Accounting and controlling processes and systems

Familiarity with all governance and compliance norms and requirements

Ability to work in ambiguous and fast-paced environment

Qualifications :

CA (preferably with CS)

12+ years experience in Accounts, Business Finance, Compliance/CS, Commercial

Recent experience in a business that’s large (above Rs 1000cr revenues)

Familiarity with/Experience in e-commerce space is a plus

Age: 35-40 years

Salary: Not a constraint for right candidate, A best in class combination of fixed +variable + (esop's, may be)
