Executive Hiring is looking for a Young Talent as a Chief Executive Officer for one of the startups, which is owner and promoter of big and popular Sporting Events, based at Mumbai.

MBA/PGDM with 15-17 years of exp in both Marketing and Sales, of which last 2-3 years as Profit Centre Head in an MNC. Candidate with experience heading the sporting events in any of the Franchise or Country Cricket / Football/ Basketball Leagues across the Globe, or an incumbent managing popular & large sporting events is mandatory.

The Role : 

- Understanding of consumer, technology and business will be an essential requirement.

- Develop long term and short term strategic plans and gain approval of the Board for the same

- Lead the process of strategic business planning and define organizational goals and objectives and guide the business unit heads in cascading of organizational goals to the respective business units

- Monitor organizational performance against the set objectives

- Ensure preparation of annual organizational budget and monitor its implementation at business unit and departmental levels for maximizing the revenue flows and minimizing the costs

- Responsible for the overall P&L & driving revenue maximization for the orgn.

- Provide inputs to the CFO & approve critical financial &investment decisions taken to maximize returns or deliver strategic edge

- Oversee preparation of the annual report & accounts of the organization in consultation with the CFO

- Guide the business unit heads and departmental heads in developing policies and processes at organizational and departmental level to meet organization's mission and objectives

- Establish & maintain effective relationships with major clients, relevant government departments & agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers & other important stakeholders

- Leverage the resources and experience towards building an efficient business model with robust systems and processes

- Ensure best practices are followed while conducting all important activities to contain various operational costs and maximize profits for the orgn.

- Ensure organization compliance with applicable regulatory norms and statutory reporting guidelines at the local and international level

- Monitor risk management strategies and action plans

- Represent the organization in key forums, conferences and other trade associations at national and international level

- Provide strategic inputs in corporate presentations for media, industry and various other forums both at national and international level

- Guide the business unit heads in negotiations with clients, government departments and other key contacts to secure the most effective output for the organization

- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and team work across the organization

- Ensure high level of employee engagement and satisfaction and retention of key personnel

- Set goals, review and manage performance, guide and counsel and provide feedback to subordinates on performance so as to ensure a motivated and committed team.
