Chief Executive Officer - SaaS

Job Summary :

- The CEO of a SaaS company plays a critical role in driving innovation, overseeing product development, and ensuring the company's success in the dynamic technology market.

- They are responsible for leading the company's strategic direction, driving growth, and delivering innovative products that meet customer needs.

- The CEO collaborates with cross-functional teams, builds partnerships, and stays abreast of emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

- Additionally, the CEO reports directly to the Board of Directors and works closely with them to ensure effective governance, strategic decision-making, and management of a large technical organization responsible for product development, deployment, integration, and support.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and execute the company's overall strategic vision and goals in collaboration with the Board of Directors.

2. Lead the product technology company, providing strong leadership and guidance to the team.

3. Drive product innovation and development, ensuring the company delivers market-leading solutions.

4. Identify emerging trends and technologies relevant to the company's product offerings.

5. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the organization.

6. Build and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders.

7. Develop and execute effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth.

8. Ensure the company's products meet high-quality standards and align with customer requirements.

9. Oversee the management of resources, budgets, and financial performance.

10. Report to the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on the company's performance, key initiatives, and strategic decisions.

11. Collaborate with the Board in the formulation of the company's strategic plans, goals, and objectives.

12. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and adhere to corporate governance principles.

13. Participate in board meetings, presenting reports, financial statements, and other relevant information.

14. Build and maintain a positive and constructive relationship with the Board, seeking their guidance and leveraging their expertise for the company's benefit.

15. Manage a large technical organization responsible for product development, deployment, integration, and support, comprising 500+ employees.

16. Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the technical organization, ensuring efficient project execution and successful product delivery.

17. Implement and improve development processes, deployment methodologies, integration strategies, and support frameworks.

18. Collaborate with the technical teams to address challenges, optimize resource allocation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

19. Establish performance metrics, monitor team and project performance, and drive accountability for results.

20. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in product development, deployment, integration, and support

Qualifications :

1. Minimum 20 years software industry experience and in last 3 years proven track record as a CEO or in a CxO/senior executive leadership role

2. Minimum 10 years experience with global customers and international markets

3. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technology trends.

4. Deep knowledge of the software industry, including emerging software development technologies and market dynamics.

5. Demonstrated experience in driving product innovation and successfully launching new products in SaaS Model.

6. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

7. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to drive growth and profitability.

8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

9. Software development experience of 5years, preferably with hands-on involvement earlier in the career, to understand technical complexities and effectively collaborate with the development teams.

10. Experience in managing financial performance, budgets, and resource allocation.

11. Ability to navigate complex and rapidly changing business environments.

12. Engineering Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred) from premium institutes
