Chief Executive Officer - Rural Retail

- The Company provides various online services, bringing financial and digital inclusion to Indian villages. It offers these services through more than 3 Lacs Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) spread across India reaching out to over millions.

- They are looking for a CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER to spearhead the Company's business which entails Financial Inclusion, Banking services, Insurance and other Government initiatives and G2C services through rural digitalization platforms.

- The role of Chief Executive Officer will encompass managing and leading internal teams and VLEs in semi urban and rural markets; creating strong rural distribution network, and designing a strong short and long term business strategy. Further the role is expected to leverage digital and new initiatives focusing mainly on all rural products and services (Financial Inclusion, both with PSU Banks and Private Banks) and other Government products & Services including insurance, travel, UIDAI, loans.

- The objective would be to expand the present centres from about 3 lacs to 10 lacs and making it into a one-stop centre providing all products and services through a "brick and click" model.

The responsibility will inter alia include the following:

- Leading the rural products & services and distribution.

- Building relationships with the multiple service providers.

- Building and sustaining excellence through technology, strong rural network; branch rollouts across districts in all states of India.

- Leading, Recruiting and Managing internal teams and VLEs.

- The leader must preferably fulfill the following criteria:

Competencies:

- High on business acumen

- Strong marketing and sales experience.

- Specialist in transforming businesses and growing them on fast trajectory

- Strong in process orientation, planning and execution

- Excellent leadership skills; building & leading cross functional teams

- High on work ethics and integrity

Remuneration: Remuneration will be the best in the industry as per prevailing market standards and will include lucrative variable payout.

The leader must be willing to take up a path breaking challenge, work passionately to create a legacy in the arena of rural digitalization.

Age: 50 years and above

Background: Working as CEO or an equivalent senior profile either for an e-commerce, retail or a fintech organization
