Job Description:
This position, preferably based in India, is responsible for establishing all business administration aspects of international operations in India and South Asia. Will advise and ensure compliance to all international operations, sale & marketing, manufacturing, accounting, legal, insurance, human resources, facility and tax procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities include the following:
1. Set up strategy and develop and execute the annual business plan, including revenue forecasting, expense budget and market development.
2. Ensure all international business is in compliance with local policies, regulations, accounting rules and controls.
3. Interface with internal sales/manufacturing personnel and customers, vendors, sub-contractors, etc. regarding the terms and conditions of customer orders, sales agreements and contracts.
4. Collaborate with sales management in development, implementation and execution of territory sales plans resulting in increase in sales, as well as retention of those same assets to achieve sales goals.
5. Deliver targeted sales growth personally and through all sales team.
6. Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
7. Develop and implement business to business sales techniques and sales management best practices
8. Secure new business opportunities on an international basis.
9. Extensive ability to close and increase client acquisition rates.
10. Establish local relationships required to conduct business as needed, i.e. banking, legal accounting, import/export, etc.
11. Serve as a member of the company's senior leadership team and provide insight/point-of-view on all corporate strategic priorities.
12. Provide clear direction, develops and motivates team members to obtain best performance.
13. Provide leadership and direction to the sales management team.
14. Facilitate successful inter-workings between sales team and other company functions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Experience international business development at least 5 years
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position.
- Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
