Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising and Community Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to attract donations from individuals, organizations, and community groups. Lead awareness campaigns that emphasize the impact on the community.
- Municipal Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with local municipalities to drive community giving. Collaborate on joint events and initiatives, ensuring donor contributions are acknowledged appropriately.
- Donation Processing and Compliance: Oversee the issuance of donation receipts and ensure accurate record-keeping and confidentiality of donor information.
- Marketing and Promotions: Plan and execute promotional campaigns using social media, press releases, and local events to enhance visibility.
- Financial Mapping and Reporting: Track and report donation amounts against operational costs and provide regular updates on fundraising progress to the Director of Municipal Administration (DMA).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relations, or community engagement.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, financial acumen, proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software, and excellent communication skills for building partnerships.
