The Role: CEO, India
Seeking a visionary and strategic leader, who will oversee Strategy and Operations, and is responsible for the financial performance of the business.
- Base Location – Trivandrum, Kerala, India
- Responsibility Region – India, with a growth trajectory towards regions such as South East Asia, Australia & Austria
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement, in conjunction with the Board, strategic plans for the company's businesses.
- Act as a liaison between management and the Board.
- Engage with and understand customer groups to drive deep community understanding.
- Establish appropriate levels of involvement with key customers as needed, and maintain contact with customer executives and key client relationships across the business.
- Master key dynamics of markets based on a deep understanding of continually evolving customer needs in multiple markets, drive the company's strategic direction, including determining which offerings to stop, start and continue.
- Oversee all business operations functions, with a focus on measurement, effectiveness, quality, service, and efficient management of resources.
- Ensure accurate achievement and reporting of annual operating budget as well as quarterly financial forecasts for the business.
- Lead a high-performing team, ensuring the right people are in the right jobs and in the right structure for optimal operations.
- Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives. Identify and develop talent, address under performance.
- Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards, direct planning and policy-making committees. Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Ensure the company as a whole operates with integrity and in a responsible manner, as demonstrated through a positive work environment, high employee engagement, respect for colleagues and the environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Requirements:
Ideal candidate should have overall 12-20 years of experience. We expect you have proficiency in majority of the following expectations, if not all.
- Some international exposure in work/ education, and education from an institution of repute with a Engineering / Management background.
- Experience in SAP environment, IT Project Delivery, Industry Domain exposure in Energy & Utilities
- Executive Presence and leadership skills to run P&L.
- Functional exposure to oversee General & Administrative departments (such as Finance, Human Resources, Office Administration, Public Relations, Government Affairs, Commercial, Purchase/ Procurement, Resource Management, Account Management, Pre-sales, Marketing, Business Development etc.).
- Financial acumen; measurement-driven
- Ability to focus and prioritize initiatives and teams based on strategic and financial value
- Skilled at communicating clearly and with impact
- Ability to be inspirational and to motivate others to excel
- Intellectually curious and rapid learner
- High energy, enthusiastic, strong drive and bias for action
- Able to build honest, strong relationships with direct reports, peers, and customers; consistently able to behave with fairness and respect; values diversity; able to manage conflict constructively.
- Flexibility, ability to travel up to 40% of time, as business is bi-coastal with an international presence and corporate headquarters located in Germany. Awareness of international issues/ doing business with emerging markets.
