Chief Executive Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Direct the Hospital in keeping with the vision outlined by the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for leading the development of the overall strategy of the hospital including Medical and General administration and the related activities and ensures its smooth functioning.
- Partnering with high-level officers to grow the hospital, strengthen it, and ensure its sustainability in the industry.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that enhance the hospital's position in the healthcare market, focusing on growth, patient care quality, and financial sustainability.
- Develop and implement the hospital's strategic objectives in alignment with healthcare industry trends and best practices.
- Drive innovation in healthcare delivery and patient care services to maintain the hospital's position as a leader in this region.
- Representing the hospital as required, Including attendance of Important functions, Industry events, and public meetings.
- Periodic review presentations to the board about the hospital operation, infrastructure development plan, and service line development plan.
- Provide leadership in support of the Board's responsibility to develop and periodically review the vision, values and strategic directions of the organization.
Operational Management:
- Collaborate with administrative team, clinical department heads and to optimize clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies.
- Oversee hospital operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality.
- Demonstrate fiscal accountability to the Board and ensure appropriate systems and structures are in place for the effective management and control of resources including the employment, development, control, direction and termination of all employees.
- Ensure structures and systems are in place for the development, review and recommendation of new programs, program expansion or changes.
- Communicate with related health care agencies to promote co-ordination and or planning of local health care services.
Financial Oversight:
- Work closely with CFO (Chief Financial Officer) to prepare the annual budget and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Report and advise the Board of Directors with regards to the Financial Budgeting, Growth, risk, and return.
- Manage the hospital's financial performance, including budgeting, revenue growth strategies, cost control measures, and capital allocation.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Board of directors, administrative teams, key stakeholders, Consultants, community leaders, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the hospital in public forums and cultivate a positive public image through effective communication and community outreach efforts.
Quality and Patient Safety:
- Uphold rigorous standards of patient care, safety, and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement policies and procedures that promote patient-centred care and satisfaction.
- Promotes and ensures compliance with accreditation standards and ethical and legal requirements.
Leadership Development:
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development among hospital staff and medical professionals.
- Recruit and retain top talent, provide mentorship, and promote leadership succession planning.
- Ensure effective human resource and succession planning and effective employee performance evaluation system is in place.
- Establish a selection process, roles and responsibilities of the executive leadership team.
