Role: CEO
Location: Chennai
Role Summary: Our client is looking forward to hire a CEO to facilitate Business development, deploy S&M strategy and raise investments to build a robust team and scale for the same.
Candidate attributes:
a) Marketing (in the sense of creating product concept and successfully taking it to market)
b) Sales and Distribution - especially in rural areas, preferably Agri biz
c) Start up experience is a must
d) P & L responsibility and understanding
e) Team and stakeholder management
f) Fund raising experience in a startup preferred
g] An experience in Agri Business would be suggestive and an additional preferred quality
Short job description:
- Oversee the formation of business partnerships and negotiation of contracts.
- Lead company's planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth.
- Manage business development and sales staff.
Detailed Role:
- Developing and executing company sales and marketing plans, including implementing new ideas and tools for the company.
- Work closely with a team of salespeople, management and lower-level employees.
- Secure contracts with new customers, as well as manage ongoing contracts.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts within and outside of the company.
- To raise funds periodically to sustain operations and increase the valuation of the company by directing right innovations and exploring the market fit
Remuneration:
Fixed and a variable component, along with ESOP options based on the profile of the candidate
