The primary role of the Chief Executive Officer will be Strategic with responsibility for the overall business. The incumbent will be required to provide strong leadership for day to day operations and make it future ready in line with Industry and Customer trends and expectations.
The incumbent will have to spearhead the Company's growth strategy by being a part of Core team for Growth strategy, execute the same, build a sustainable business in Automobile and Tractor segment and make it an INR 500 crores enterprise in the next 05 years.
The CEO will be tasked to implement the right people, product and business strategies to manage the business operations and hold complete responsibility for various functions including manufacturing, supply chain and procurement, quality, sales and marketing, business development, finance and human resources including industrial relations
The key accountabilities of the Chief Executive Officer would be:
Business Management and Growth
- Work with the management, consultants to put in place a strategy that helps to maximize the revenue growth, aiming for 4x growth in the next 5 years.
- Carry out short & long term business & product planning.
- Leverage the existing foot print for the business and put in place a strong vision and sales process for maximizing growth.
- Work towards increasing the capacity utilization as a market leader in its segment, with strong reputation to realize its true potential
- Integrate and optimize manufacturing, supply chain for effective cost, and design functions to deliver high y-o-y growth
Leadership
- Build a talented, effective & motivated leadership team to manage the company.
- Work towards building a best in class and highly efficient manufacturing organization with best in class practices and strong focus on margin management.
- Infuse a sense of positive optimism to build an aggressive growth roadmap
- Drive forcefully a compliant and ethical work-culture that fosters growth and teamwork
Strategic Management
- Guiding enhancement of process efficiency and effectiveness leading to significant cost- savings and improved quality
- Work with the various stakeholders and the management to ensure that the business objectives are met over both short and long term
- To ensure product portfolio mix is optimized with respect to capability, quality and profitability
Operational Management
- Understand the processes, set up programs, and rapidly scale up the operations to meet the target deadlines for production.
- Decide the most effective labor mix and requirements for rationalization of manpower
- Introduce best in class Quality systems and process such as Lean, Six sigma etc. Continuous cost control while enhancing the scale of efficiency.
People Management
- Ensure effective resourcing strategy is in place to rapidly scale and build the business Manage performance by establishing and reviewing objectives on a regular basis
- Ensure staff are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to carry out their roles
- Facilitating teamwork; influencing and motivating team to accomplish goals by encouraging communication, and resolving conflict
- Recognize people as the key competitive differentiator and implement processes and policies to continuously build the skill levels of the team to improve production efficiency, reduce cost and deliver the highest quality product
Commercial Management
- Manage various aspects of the business - budgetary, P&L, business growth, processes and ensure that top-line and bottom-line goals are met
- Lead any initiatives to adapt existing products to meet client needs and requirements. Drive product development for appropriate and efficient solutions for the market
- Ensure the product mix between various facilities, optimized for highest production efficiency and lowest product cost
Business Development
- Act as high level contact for major clients to build and also safeguard existing profitable business and further expand business opportunities
- Work closely with the sales team to build quality relationships at all levels, and managing each account effectively
- Continuously evaluate the product portfolio to improve efficiency
- Support the sales team to explore new product lines, build capability to rapidly move up the value chain
