Role: Chief Dealer - Treasury Front Office
Reporting to: General Manager, Treasury

Education:
- Graduate in any discipline from a government-recognized university.
- Necessary certifications (IIBF/NIBM, etc.) as per RBI's capacity-building guidelines.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Treasury Front Office Operations / Treasury Dealings in a supervisory role within Scheduled Commercial Banks.
CTC: 30-35 LPA
Responsibilities:
Strategic and Planning:
- Contribute to the development of corporate strategy and ensure alignment during departmental strategy formulation, including objectives, targets, and initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to departmental policies and oversee the implementation of procedures and controls to ensure compliance with procedural and legislative requirements.
- Prepare and recommend the department's budget by analyzing specific elements as directed.
Functional:
- Track market movements to take and square off positions in domestic and forex markets.
- Oversee the execution of deals for investing, trading, and funding in SLR securities, non-SLR securities, lending and borrowing products like Repo/Reverse Repo, LAF, MSF, etc.
- Manage Forex deals for merchant and proprietary trading on behalf of the bank.
- Ensure trades are captured in the system to trigger position updates.
- Monitor currency-wise positions with each Forex desk deal and manage positions accordingly.
Process:
- Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure processes comply with established policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a robust internal control framework for managing Treasury front office operations.
- Please make sure that Service Level Agreements and turnaround times are followed.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements such as lending ratio, cash reserve requirement, and limitations on overseas borrowing in foreign currency.
- Ensure Treasury Front Office operations are effective and efficient, aiming for high operating standards.
People:
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity within the Treasury Front Office team.
- Foster a performance-driven culture through timely monitoring, review of performance parameters, and feedback.
- Identify training needs and ensure completion of mandatory training programs/certifications for self and team members.
- Mentor and coach subordinates to enhance team capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline.
- Ensure the department is adequately staffed as per manpower requirements.
- Promote high levels of employee engagement and retention of key performers.
