Chief Data Scientist-Retail

Client : Top Retail Analytics Org.

Need : 15-20+ Years of exp post PhD/MS in OR/Optimization/SCM and related field with Retail Solutions.

Responsibility :

- Candidate will be required to productive analytical solutions using Advanced Analytics /Machine Learning methodologies.

- Should have strong experience in working on cutting edge analytical solutions for Retailers across globe.

- Conceptualize, design and execute analytical models to embed within client's Customer Analytics/SCM Analytics portfolio, leading a team of Data Scientists.

- Work with Engineering Teams to productize analytic approaches, develop and deploy analytic code components and work with the Functional Team to define business use cases.

- Test model performance against competitive approaches to evolve alternative modeling options.

Qualification & Experience :

- 15-20+ years of experience with a PhD/Masters (with relevant experience) in Operations Research/Supply Chain Management/Retail/ Optimization / Applied Mathematics/Computer Science.

- Should have demonstrated experience in building scalable forecasting & optimization systems, recommender systems and association rule-mining systems, preferably in Retail Domain

- Experience in building and evaluating retail analytics products would be a plus.

- Exposure to build Big Data Products using state-of-the art technologies in Hadoop Eco-system, SQL & NoSQL databases.

- Hands-on expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Inference, Predictive Modeling, Operations Research.

- Building data models using R/SAS/python. - Exposure to Cloud Computing platforms (Azure/AWS), BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microstrategy or equivalent.
