He overall objective of the role is transform the credit function of the organisation by using data science for smart decision making.

Responsibilities - 

- Setup, Manage and Lead the Data Science team Providing Advanced Analytics, MIS and Digital solutions to Sales, Credit, Collections, and Ops

- Provide strategic inputs and identify business growth opportunities

- Applicant Scorecard for quick, efficient, and statistically validated segmentation of applicants to reduce TAT and improve conversion rate

- Collections Scorecard to identify Self-cure and PD to optimize the cost of collections, improve the Return on Efforts and control the Roll Forward Rate

- Reject Inferencing - To identify the credit policy effectiveness / gaps and the potential to relax our risk parameters

- Collections Optimization Tool - For optimized collections using the Travelling Salesman Problem as our building block

- Liaise with the Senior Management Team and Board of Directors to manage expectations,

- Automation of existing MIS framework using SAS and R to minimize manual intervention and hence the probability of error while computing the reports

- Development of new Reports / Dashboards using SAS and R to improve the visualization and share new insights with the key stakeholders

- Digital: Work with the technology business partner to enable the Mobility Platform to support handheld devices for enabling our salesforce

- New website development
