Experience: 15-20 years which will be a blend of Banking, Government, Financial Institutions and in Organizations with Multiple Business Lines and Locations.

Specialization : Knowledge of Econometrics

Age; Around 45 years

Key Responsibilities

- To provide macro and micro economic knowledge and insights to the Company's businesses and advise them on economic issues; Enable businesses to factor impact of economic and political events on business during business planning; Spread awareness on economics related topics among the companies employees.

- The incumbent will work closely with Corporate Strategy, Corporate Finance, various Independent Companies, S&A Companies and also the other Economists in IC/ Subsidiaries & Associates (S&A) Companies.

a) To scan economic environment, observe trends pertaining to L&T businesses and come out with various hypotheses for future.

b) To develop deeper understanding of working in various countries and hence risks associated with the same.

c) Currency movement and likely fluctuations so as to be a thought partner with the respective functions for future trends.

d) To understand Government spend, budgeting processes, current account deficiencies, foreign reserve status.

e) To develop macro trends so as to identify areas for policy advocacy.

f) To interact with various external agencies for knowledge sharing and learning.
