Chief Compliance Officer - NBFC/Lending

What you will work on:

- Should be well-versed with the compliance guidelines and controls for all regulatory requirements including RBI related compliances, SEBI, Companies Act, etc.

- Should be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.

- Liaison and deal with auditors and regulators from time to time

- Should keep abreast with the latest regulatory changes/ requirements and adhere to such requirements

- Prepare compliance reports for the Management

- Highly driven and motivated individual with ability to get hands-on where required

- Possess good inter-personal skills and maintain cordial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Should be professionals of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties, keeping in mind the objectives of the business.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Outstanding drafting skills and strong negotiation skills

Qualification and Experience:

- 8+ years of relevant experience in NBFC and Lending space

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a reputed institute with a good academic record

- Possess relevant secretarial experience, preferably in with a lending company or in the NBFC/BFSI sector

- Excellent knowledge of all the corporate laws including Companies Act, RBI compliance, etc.
