Chief Collections Officer/Collection Head - Financial Institution/NBFC

Proposed Responsibilities :

- The Collections Head will lead the team in its 360-degree monetary and fiscal function, making sure that The Group resonates with competence and goodwill among all its stakeholders.

- Manage a team of Regional and Cluster collections Managers, Collections officers across all branche

- Accountable for reducing delinquency and improving recovery rates of Portfolio.

- Design and build a robust collection framework across products and across collection life cycle from PDD to write off stage.

1. Performance Management 

- Monitor month-wise collection cost, analyse gap between business plan and actual cost, and propose action plan for improvement including change of collection agencies, allocation logic, new payout scheme and etc.

- Monitor monthly performance of Recovery Department, particularly performance of surrender/repossession at NPA stage, auction, days in stock, repo loss per unit sold and write-off bad debt collection.

- Review portfolio of existing customers, review existing allocation logic and propose any changes for improvement if required.

- Implementing the monitoring mechanism and MIS to ensure that each parameter of KPI is constantly measured, reported, analyzed and improved

- Act as a constant source of feedback to product and policy teams to aid in amending policies/ products time to time to suit the market risk.

- Initiate of legal action on problematic customers

- Motivate team through coaching, development and training interventions

- To support the business on data quality management i.e. improving the quality of customer information available through timely feedback

- Identifying areas of weaknesses, recommending solutions and supporting the collection team to achieve targets.

Requisite Skill Set:

- Candidate must be a Post Graduate

- Must have experience of working in retail lending NBFC / other Financial Institution/ Bank

- Experience in handling small ticket size loans.

- Experience in managing Legal recovery,

- Proven performance track record

- Region/Scope of Geography- PAN India
