About the Company:

Our client is a fast-scaling, design-first premium interiors brand disrupting the home and workspace segment with its tech-enabled, customer-centric approach. Backed by a strong founding team and operational backbone, the company offers full-stack solutions across design, build, and project execution-driven by quality, transparency, and premium customer experience.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a sharp and execution-focused Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead the business end-to-end. As CBO, you will be the commercial and growth engine of the business-responsible for full P&L, topline ownership, GTM strategy, channel scale-up, and operational throughput across customer and project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the full P&L of the interiors business; deliver aggressive revenue and margin goals.

2. Define and execute scalable GTM strategies across online, offline, B2B and B2C channels.

3. Expand the business footprint in new geographies through scalable org design and playbooks.

3. Optimize lead-to-conversion funnel, closure timelines, and post-sale profitability.

4. Drive business excellence through process-led execution, analytics, and team OKRs.

5. Build and lead high-performance sales, partnerships, and CX teams.

6. Collaborate with design, marketing, project, and finance teams to drive business velocity.

What We're Looking For:

1. 12-20 years of experience, ideally in a P&L leadership role at a scaled-up startup or similar categories (real estate, D2C consumer durables, premium home solutions).

2. Hands-on experience with project sales, multi-channel funnels, customer life cycles, and post-sale service excellence.

3. Strong pedigree: MBA from IIMs, ISB, XLRI, or other Tier-1 institutes.

4. Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, structured problem-solving, and people-first leadership.
