Currently hiring for an ecommerce start up which is based on a business model of a very successful $12 Bn, 4 yrs old company in US. The company is funded by a veteran in the field who has been a serial entrepreneur, a CEO and has been awarded "trend setter" award.
- The opening is for Chief business officer (a mini CEO) for Bangalore location (Whitefield).
- The incumbent should by all means be a go getter, somebody who has the knack to set up businesses from scratch, is entrepreneurial in nature and mindset, energetic, passionate, live wire and can get the things done on his own. The role will report to the founder directly.
- Responsible for topline and bottomline of the business and driving business growth.
- Strategy development and implementation
- Inculcating customer centricity top down in the organization
- Play an important role in customer acquisition and automation
- Develop, own, drive and implement the overall e-commerce strategy and roadmap and focus on sales & marketing, driving business & revenue growth, continuously monitoring P&L, customer acquisition strategies and entry into new markets.
- Be responsible for budget planning leveraging the existing systems across the group, integration with existing systems and procedures, scalability of the revenues and online sales
- Team management
Ideal candidate :
- Agile, passionate, energetic, a live wire
- Should be able to work in chaotic environment
- Should be emotionally strong to handle stakeholders at all levels
- Should be willing to travel across Bangalore, should be flexible with working hours/timings
- Ideal candidate will be someone with 4-5 yrs of experience with sales and marketing background with a bent towards digital marketing
- Ambitious and able to drive through change
- Enthusiastic, creative and motivating; able to provide support and encouragement to colleagues and senior manager with varying levels of skills
- Broad understanding of multiple eCommerce skill sets including, SEM, e-mail, re-targeting, affiliate programmes, SEO, CRM
- Entrepreneurs are preferred
