Head of Financial Reporting / Chief Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a Head of Financial Reporting / Chief Accountant who will be responsible for Financial Reporting & Audit Function. This position will be based at Bangalore and will report to the Head of Finance and Commercial Management/ Chief Financial Officer India Pvt Ltd.

Opportunity description:

This position is responsible for the accounting, reporting and treasury function of India. This includes overall oversight of the team and responsibility for timely delivery of over all components of the role.

- Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual closing & reporting process.

- Responsible for timely and accurate accounting and reporting, treasury.

- Oversee the treasury activities & tax compliances

- Lead the tax audit, statutory audit, group audit and internal audit

- Responsible for appraising management for tax changes, reporting and other regulatory changes.

- Overall support internal controls adoption for VCEIPL

- Drive process improvemnt in all flows through manual and automated improvements

- Play an active role in the annual business planning and budget setup process (4C /Essbase) along with CFO.

Mindset and Competence:

- You are a CA with at least 12-15 years of work experience in finance and accounts function preferably in a Multinational organization.

- You have firsthand experience in leading above mentioned processes in finance, planning and accounting function with in-depth knowledge of all areas of finance incl accounting, tax, compliance, audit.

- You have good understanding of business operations preferably from related industry/ manufacturing industry.

- You have failed and overcome difficulties and learned from mistakes
