Position Overview:
As the Head of Ecommerce at Chat360, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of our ecommerce initiatives, playing a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ecommerce operations, including platform development, digital marketing, customer experience optimization, and sales performance. Your expertise in ecommerce trends and technologies, coupled with a passion for driving results, will be instrumental in elevating Chat360's position as a leader in the omnichannel commerce space.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with Chat360's overall business objectives, focusing on driving revenue growth and enhancing customer engagement.
- Lead the development and optimization of our ecommerce platform, ensuring seamless integration with chatbot and AI technologies to deliver a personalised and intuitive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content strategies, to drive traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition.
- Monitor and analyse key ecommerce metrics and KPIs, such as website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value, to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Lead ecommerce sales efforts, developing strategic partnerships, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, merchants, and third-party platforms to expand our ecommerce ecosystem.
- Drive initiatives to optimise the customer journey and enhance the overall shopping experience, including website design, navigation, product discovery, checkout process, and post-purchase support.
- Stay abreast of emerging ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices, providing insights and recommendations for innovation and differentiation in the market.
- Manage a team of ecommerce professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and track ecommerce budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices, with experience in managing ecommerce platforms, preferably in the B2B or enterprise space.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging ecommerce metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a passion for innovation and driving results.
- Experience in the technology or SaaS industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of chatbot, AI, or conversational commerce technologies is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
