Position Overview:
The Account Farmer role at Chat360 is pivotal in driving growth and enhancing the value we deliver to our existing clients. As an Account Farmer, you will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with our B2B SaaS customers, understanding their unique business needs, and identifying opportunities to expand our solutions and services within their organisations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of account management and farming techniques, as well as a proactive approach to customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities:
1. Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications.
- Understand clients' business needs and align them with Chat360's solutions and services.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through regular check-ins and proactive issue resolution.
2. Account Farming:
- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
- Cross-sell and up-sell additional services and solutions to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Work closely with the sales and technical teams to propose customised solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and growth objectives for assigned accounts.
3. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive account growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and performance metrics.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance service offerings based on client needs.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 7 years of experience in IT sales, account management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of account farming techniques and strategies.
- Proven ability to manage and grow key client accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related field preferred.
