Chartered Accountant - Valuation - Advisory Firm

Hiring CA for Valuation profile for a reputed Advisory firm

Responsibilities :

1) Business and financial modeling

2) Work on the identification of comparable companies, comparable transactions, and calculation of transaction multiples

3) Research on current trends in the M&A, funding, VC & startup sector.

4) Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities across various industries using globally accepted relevant approaches and theory.

5) Gathering data pertinent to the engagement through internal/ external client interactions, including face-to-face meetings, and internal/ external client site visits.

6) Designing financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing analysis.

7) Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including writing valuation reports.

8) Contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications.

9) Working with internal management in building and maintaining internal client relationships.

10) Identifying and communicating potential engagements to internal/ external management and writing engagement letters.

11) Managing administrative responsibilities towards the engagement such as code creation, reporting and invoicing.

12) Vendor due diligence and pre/post-deal assistance

13) Data-room co-ordination

Requirements :

1) Chartered Accountant/CFA (USA)/MBA in Finance from a reputed university

2) 1-2 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset models.

3) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.

5) Experience working with diverse teams.

6) Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Location : Pune. No work from home.

Experience : Min 1 year experience of valuation of Indian startups/other companies under FEMA, Companies Act is a must

Qualification : CA with less than 3 attempts
