Key requirements
- 10+ years of generating strong digital advertising sales revenue, including 5+ years of leading a team of direct sellers and operations staff
- Has successfully driven and grown a direct sales ad business
- Have a consultative approach rather than a push sales approach
- Inspirational leader and motivator of teams
- Strong relationships with key agencies and media buyers on a national level is preferred
- Experience driving native, video and branded content sales
- Background in helping create advertising products and monetization strategies a must
- Ability to drive both data-centric and relationship-building selling strategies
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to take a hands-on role to help transform our company from a start-up to a bigger and very profitable entity.
You will be charged with growing all advertising revenue and leading a nimble staff of direct integrated sellers located in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi, and an and advertising operations team in Bangalore.
You must have strong experience in Ad Sales management, Ad Tech and digital ad sales, with a desire to grow our overall advertising revenue across all platforms, formats and industry verticals.
In this leadership role, you will:
- Create, own and drive our revenue strategy in consultation with senior company leadership
- Align and motivate the sales and ad operations team behind your strategy, and drive their execution towards meeting of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Innovate on new sales opportunities and strategies
- Be the voice of the market in being a key contributor to our ad product strategy and development, in conjunction with product, content marketing and platform groups
