- Align with sales targets and accordingly supervise the activities of field sales executives
- Should have knowledge of trade schemes , marketing campaigns to be able to contribute to rolling out incentive schemes, run marketing campaigns and ensure resources are utilized optimally including channel digitization
- Manage relationships with team and distributor and dealer networks, sales growth analysis & opportunities with long term approach
- Align with Product Marketing team for planning launch & placement of exisiting & new categories
- Analysis of the sales opportunity , productivity of the team is steady, resources are utilized optimally
- Oversee the development of channel expansion/contraction strategy, look out for potential channel partners and conduct due diligence of new distributors
- Keep a check on the financial health of channel partners towards maintaining long term productivity and growth of the channel partners
- Lead and manage a team of field sales executives with help of regional channel development managers for Power Solutions Business division
- Provide development opportunities to the team of field sales executives and ensure career paths and succession plans are charted out, reviewed and updated
- Set and communicate clear performance expectations, coach, provide support and regular feedback to the team of field sales executives and manage their performance and upskilling requirements to develop an efficient sales team which drives value for Luminous through operational excellence
