Looking for Channel Development Head - World's Largest Consumer Durable Company - Gurgaon (10-15 yrs

I am working as a Team Manager for a Executive Search Team hiring for top of the Business Groups at Sr. Management or Executive space. Few of prestigious clients includes : Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, KPMG, Flipkart, Ingersoll Rand, Sanofi, Ranbaxy, Samsung, Bank OF America, Boston Analytics and many others.

Currently we are working for a high worth assignment for searching a Head - Channel Development for a World's largest Consumer Durable Company based in Delhi NCR

Brief Description:

- Working closely with executive management in assessing the future direction of channel strategy, its performance and coherence over time.

- As focuses on a broader business and sales objectives identify and develop new channel models and relationships between downstream partners engaged in the delivery of services to the end user along with as upstream partners such as suppliers.

- The role holder will understand and define the impact of distribution channels on the overall marketing mix, and work with the respective marketing communications teams to ensure that it is properly communicated.

- Develop and implement Pan India channel programs focused on increasing revenues. Provide proactive support to the respective Business Units to recruit, establish and performance manage channel partners.

- Complementing the Business Unit-specific channel activities, you will provide and manage overall performance of Business Unit-wide channel partners, channel remuneration and incentives, contractual requirements and compliance both within the Business Units and by channel partners, etc.

- Provide an interface between the Business Units, marketing communications, product and services teams, manufacturers, etc. to ensure coherence of distribution policy, its communication to external audiences and specifically company’s commitment to primarily use an indirect channel. A specific input is required as part of each major product or service launch to ensure successful commercial service introduction.

- Working with the Business Units to provide the necessary commitment and collaboration, you will ensure that process are in place such that all activities across the entire channel are effectively co-ordinated and leveraged to maximum benefit; this includes training, events co-ordination, support from other functions for trials, etc.

The role is varied and challenging, requiring a range of skills to be applied at any one time as well as the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business and market environment.
