Job Summary:


- The Manager of Accounts and Finance plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization.


- This role involves overseeing financial operations, managing the accounting team, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.


- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and leadership, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounts Receivable:


- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, credit control, and collections.


- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and follow up on outstanding invoices to minimize overdue payments.


- Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger, reconciling any discrepancies.


- Collaborate with sales and Client Servicing teams to resolve billing and payment issues.


- Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status and cash flow projections.


Accounts Payable:


- Oversee accounts payable functions, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment scheduling.


- Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices and expense reports.


- Process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and optimizing cash flow.


- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and resolve any discrepancies or issues.


- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable payment terms.


Payroll Management:


- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.


- Administer payroll-related tasks, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance.


- Oversee the implementation of payroll policies and procedures.


- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations affecting payroll and make necessary adjustments.


- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits


Financial Reporting:


- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.


- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.


Budgeting and Forecasting:


- Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to create realistic financial plans.


- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, making adjustments as needed.


Cash Flow Management:


- Manage the organization's cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.


- Optimize working capital and identify opportunities for investment or cost reduction.


Audit and Compliance:


- Coordinate annual financial audits and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards.


- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.


Taxation and Regulatory Compliance:


- Manage tax planning and compliance, working with tax advisors to minimize the organization's tax liability.


- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.


Financial Analysis and Strategy:


- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.


- Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and business growth.


Risk Management:


- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.


- Monitor economic and market trends to make informed financial decisions.


Qualifications:


- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).


- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
