At Jar, our people are our most important resource. We're looking for a People Operations Specialist to become one of them, help us find them and ensure their wellbeing. We want to build our Talent & Culture team with highly resourceful folks, who will help us in creating an A-team and look after planning and implementing various human resources programs
Responsibilities:
- Provide support in talent acquisition and recruitment processes - initial candidate screening, scheduling interviews and handling communication with candidates.
- Managing employee onboarding and offboarding
- Development of HR objectives and systems at Jar, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements and to improve employee experience
- Undertaking new initiatives to setup policies and programs for employee benefits and engagement
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of work experience in the talent and culture teams of high growth startups
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Ability to priorities, multitask and meet deadlines and targets
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
