Change Manager (Corporate & Investment Banking)

Key Accountabilities & approximate time split (%)

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

2. The project manager must be able to fully explain all process flows to relevant stakeholders.

The jobholder is specifically expected to deliver continuous improvement in financial processes and controls by:

1. Ensure all staff are effectively led, motivated, developed and appraised so that their individual and collective performance is of the required high standard and meets the current, as well as the future, needs of the business.

2. Providing strong leadership to Finance staff and act as a coach to communicate and achieve the Finance objectives and vision.

3.Manage staff recruitment and turnover; ensure consistent training and development plans are rolled out across

Service Delivery

- Ensure process compliance as per the regulatory guidelines and audit requirements.

- Oversee the preparation of basic financial analysis, impairment analysis, financial reports, financial planning and financial statements analysis.

- Identify process improvement opportunities.

- Understand customer needs and provide innovative solutions.

- Manage and monitor quality for the business area.

- Respond to and resolve issues arising out of interactions with clients.

- Ensure open communication and address issues/ concerns raised.

Relationship Management

- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with key stakeholders across businesses served.

Team Management

- Measure performance of the team against SLAs and KPIs.

- Ensure effective allocation and utilisation of resources across the team in order to maximise effectiveness.

- Engage, motivate and coach the team towards achieving goals.

Person Specification

Note: experience not to be time-bound

Qualifications-

Essential:

- Degree from top tier university

Preferred:

- Formal project management / business analysis training / qualifications

- CA / CFA / MBA for top tier institute

Experience

Essential:

- 8-10 years post qualification experience with strong preference for Investment banking (Product Control, Finance etc) and / or Top tier Management consultancy firm having worked on big projects

- At least 4 years experience of project management

Preferred:

-Managing a team of 4-6 people

Skills Required

Essential:

- This role contains a degree of autonomy. As such the incumbent must be able to plan, execute and deliver without a lot of guidance.

- Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and team player

- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator.

- Ability to engage / influence appropriately and negotiate with stakeholders

- Good presenting and written skills

- Ability to speak / write English fluently

- Ability to listen and absorb information

Compensation:- 45 lacs
