Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate in Commerce
- B.COM/M.COM/CA/CFA/MBA (Finance)
- Relevant experience of 4 to 6 years in Equity Markets. Experience in PMS will have an edge.
- Knowledge of databases like Bloomberg, Reuter etc.
Job Summary :

- Building financial models, building & maintaining databases, preparing initiation note, quarterly result update note and event update note.
- Interpretation of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss statements
- Researching Indian and International companies across sectors.
- Aligned with fundamental research methodology in Porters Five Forces, Moat Methodology and looking at return metrics - before investing in a company.
- Deep industry research capability across sectors like banking, financial services, pharma, consumer, IT and technology.
- Maintaining DCF models for each company, updating them each quarter. Working independently to form a view on a company and deliver models.
- Good understanding of Accounting policies, Tax policies, and ability to project balance sheet, profit and loss numbers for a company.
- Writing Notes for IPO, quarterly earnings.
- Creating Power point presentations for pitching a company to client.
- Learning data extraction software used for equity research and mutual fund research. Providing data and charts, as and when needed by management.
- Accuracy with data and advanced excel skills needed.
- Excellent communication skills and people skills. Comfort in pitching to clients.
- Ability to carry out Ratio Analysis
- Analyzing companies in the sector and to aid in preparing research reports with maximum Impact.
- Track the companies across sector.
- Analyzing and synthesizing research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for clients.
- Recommending stock ideas backed up by sound, reliable and logical research.
- Detailed review of financial statements, estimates and projections.
- Write quarterly reports covering quarterly results.
- Company updates on a monthly basis covering major developments during the month.
- Developing in-depth valuation models for stocks which includes building and forecasting revenue and cost drivers, carrying out industry research, valuation using various techniques, scenarios analysis etc.
Skills and Experience:
- Candidate should have good analytical capabilities
- Strong Accounting and Financial skills
- Advanced level of Excel knowledge and PowerPoint Presentation
- Familiarity with research software like Capital-line, Bloomberg, Reuters, etc
- Excellent communication, Relationship management and Networking skills
- Ability to work in a self-managed, entrepreneurial environment and should be a good team player
