AM/Manager - ESG - Chalo Mobility

Mission:

To lead the integration of sustainable practices and ethical governance, fostering positive environmental and social impacts across Chalo and beyond.

Key Responsibilities;

Strategic ESG Leadership:

- Develop and implement Chalo's ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.

- Establish and monitor ESG KPIs to measure impact, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.

- Drive cross-functional collaboration to embed sustainability principles across all business functions.

ESG Reporting & Compliance:

- Lead the preparation of Chalo's annual ESG report, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, investor expectations, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, BRSR).

- Identify and mitigate potential challenges in ESG reporting, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

- Keep up to date with emerging ESG regulations and disclosure trends, proactively adapting Chalo's approach.

Stakeholder Engagement & Awareness:

- Develop internal ESG awareness programs, ensuring alignment and active participation across leadership, governance, and operational teams.

- Collaborate with investors, regulators, and industry stakeholders to position Chalo as a leader in sustainable mobility.

- Foster a culture of sustainability through training, engagement, and change management initiatives.

Sustainable Business Integration

- Identify and implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact, such as carbon footprint reduction, resource efficiency, and sustainable supply chain practices.

- Work closely with finance teams to integrate ESG risk assessments into business decisions.

- Track and analyze ESG data to support business strategy, investor communications, and impact measurement.

Criteria:

- Experience: ESG, sustainability, corporate governance, or related fields.

- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Public Policy, Business, or related disciplines.

- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Experience in sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, climate risk management, or impact assessment.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate ESG data into business insights.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
