We have developed a solution to control the polluting emissions from diesel generators. The company is now expanding its line of products through the New Products Division.
Chakr Innovation has been recognized and given grants by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and were also awarded and recognized as the most innovative hardware company by American Society Of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and are one of the winners chosen by University of Chicago for a grant by Delhi Government. We have also received Champions of Earth award by United Nations, Forbes Global30 under 30, Echoing Green Fellowship. We have also raised 3 rounds of funding till date from institutional investors based out of California, Singapore and India.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead the HR team for the company. You will be working closely with the founders and senior management of the company to set up and execute world class systems and processes enabling a positive and effective working environment.
The responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Talent Recruitment & Performance Management
a. Managing the Hiring process for all open positions at Chakr
b. Ensuring smooth onboarding of all team members at Chakr
c. Manage the documentation process and appropriate database record-keeping for all current and past employees
d. Manage and run the performance management program for the company including but not limited to Management by Objective and Performance Improvement Programs, etc.
e. Ensure smooth exit process for all employees, including performance
2. Learning and Development
a. Planning and executing training and development planning for new joiners
b. Develop, implement and manage staff performance and professional development plan that aligns with company's mission, vision and objectives and drives high performance
3. Organization Development
a. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
b. Developing clear policies for the organization and ensuring policy awareness.
c. Work towards nurturing a positive working environment at all times with frequent update from internal surveys and interviews
4. Compliance Management
a. Ensuring safety in plant and discipline in premises
b. Management of all compliance and process related to Contract workers
c. Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
d. Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
5. Making Chakr a Great Place to Work
a. Identifying areas for improvement based on the initial dipstick
b. Implementing initiatives to enable making Chakr a great place to work
What we look for:
- Graduate in any field with an MBA in HR
- 7-10 years of experience in leading HR teams
Skills and experience :
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive positions
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong business acumen
