Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a stellar New Product Strategy Manager, who is passionate about solving complex problems within B2B Energy space. You will be a part of the close-knit team of rockstars, working on the product launch of an innovative product.
1. Strategy Development
- Help in developing and implementing product vision and strategy
- Develop and implement the Go To Market strategy for the product
- Have strong solution skills in translating customer needs to product functionalities
2. Market Entry
- Drive the market readiness. Ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)
- Work on product economics and financial modelling for the business
- Identify and onboard early customers for launch of the new product
- Design and implement marketing initiatives for the product with the help of marketing partners
3. Product Success
- Own the success of the product in the market, in all aspects
- Stay on top of market conditions and competition
- Identify and onboard talent to ensure success for the product roll-out
4. Investment and Funding
- Drive the development of business cases for investments, including interactions with the Board and Shareholders of the Company
- Assist for investment and funding pitches and applications
What we look for:
1. Required Candidate profile
2. Bachelors degree in any Engineering. MBA desirable.
3. 4-9 years of experience in meaningful consulting/product management / business development experience in B2B space
4. Previous experience in Cleantech/Energy domain is desirable
5. Self-starter with ability to lead various levels of projects in the company
6. Confirmed ability to collaborate with all levels in internally and with customers
Skills Needed:
1. Strong communication skills, strong business acumen and great product instincts.
2. Strong storytelling skills: must be able to look at a diverse set of information collected from sales, customers, market research, users, and synthesize them to create motivating
3. customer-centric stories and detailed requirements for engineering team.
4. Ability to excite sales teams and customers with ideas about new products
5. Working knowledge of lean methodology, agile & iterative development
6. Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines
7. Highly entrepreneurial; both analytical and hands-on to driving business growth (result oriented)
8. Passion to solve problems and create an impact
