Operational Risk & Enterprise Risk Manager

Skills and Requisites :

- Strong knowledge of operational risk concepts, frameworks, and methodologies, including an understanding of industry best practices and evolving trends.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations, identify vulnerabilities, and propose effective risk mitigation strategies.

- Strong project management skills to oversee the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex risk concepts to diverse audiences, including senior management and regulatory bodies.

- The ability to provide training and guidance to employees on operational risk awareness, best practices, and procedures to foster a risk-aware culture within the organization.

- Proficiency in risk management software and tools, including those used for risk assessment, reporting, and incident management.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, as operational risk management often involves working with various departments and business units.

- Relevant professional certifications related to risk management can be advantageous. Examples include the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or certifications specific to operational risk management.

Job Description :

- Develop and implement operational risk management policies and procedures for the organization.

- Identify, assess, and manage operational risks faced by the company, including fraud, errors, and system failures.

- Monitor the effectiveness of operational risk controls and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies including conducting RCSA

- ICAAP - Help to conduct ICAAP and capital adequacy assessment for Ops Risk

- Technology Risk: Help to identify and manage Technology risk in consultation with Cyber team

- Analytics: Build KRI/EWS for ops risk and dashboard for Operational Risk

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to operational risk management.

- Collaborate with other departments to incorporate operational risk into business decisions.

- Prepare risk reports and present them to the CRO and stakeholders as needed.

- Participate in audits and reviews related to operational risk management.

- Provide training and guidance to other employees on operational risk management practices.
