Looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary (mandatory) with 10+ years of experience into handling/handled Merger & Acquisitions, for a Supply Chain Start-up based out in Mumbai.
Please Note : Candidate from any industry will work, But should have hands on experience on Merger & Acquisition along with some other Qualification other than CA (It could be CS/ Any certified course in Finance and Accounts)
Job Responsibilities :
Merger & Acquisitions is must
Cash flow management :
- Should have hands on experience into Merger & Acquisitions having handled finance of company started from scratch.
- Ensuring Tax Compliance
- Overseeing the Company Secretary function and ensuring compliance
- Ensuring any other regulatory compliance
- Overall management of the Finance and Accounting of the start-up
- Ensuring the month closing process and ensuring the data reported is correct and compliant
- Budgeting and forecasting and playing a hands on role in the process
- Ensuring any other regulatory compliance
Business Plan projections and budgeting :
- Ability to take a contrarian view to the CEO and ensure the right fiscal decisions are taken
- Budgeting top down and bottom up and stretch wherever there is opportunity
- Communicate monthly sales targets along with operational metrics
- Publish monthly P&L statements
Commercial deliverables and control :
- Ensure adherence to commercial processes, taxation etc.
- Provide ERP and system related support, detect errors and excess order
- Overall cost control within budget / cost optimization / operations expenses control
- Align every expenditure till it gets accounted
Review of Financials :
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly/fortnightly sales report and budget Vs actual
- Responsible for accounting and financial systems, 100% statutory compliance and timely, adequate controls and accurate book keeping
- Monitor the preparation and maintenance of ledgers
Statutory compliance :
- Coordinate with internal & external departments, statutory bodies, government departments and ensure registrations and compliance are in place
- Ensure accurate statutory reporting to relevant authorities
- Keep track of all types of filling including TDS, service tax, and VAT payments
- Analyse market potential and enable decision making from financial perspective
