CFO/Head - Finance
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to the executive team for informed decision- making
Capital Management and Fundraising:
- Lead capital raising efforts, including equity and debt financing, with a focus on Series C fundraising
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders
- Optimize the company's capital structure and funding sources to support growth initiatives
Financial Operations and Controls:
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
Strategic Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in- depth financial analysis, scenario modeling, and risk assessment to support strategic decision- making and resource allocation
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track financial performance and drive operational improvements
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities effectively
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and other senior leaders on financial matters
Job Requirements:
- CA with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
- Proven experience in Series C fundraising and working with venture capital investors
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem- solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, dynamic environment and lead cross- functional teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
