Description - This is similar to a Partner/MD role in a Big 4/Professional Services and has a client facing/business generation angle too

- CA is mandatory for this role as you will be overseeing large accounting teams

- Current CFOs of service organizations can apply if they have strong Big4 /Professional Services experience and sales/commercial bent of mind.

Client Details :

Our client is a European MNC in professional services. With around 5000+ employees across the globe, they are currently looking to strengthen their presence in India by hiring the Partner/MD based out of their Mumbai office.

Description:

Reporting to the regional MD and managing a team of 350+ professionals (largely in finance) your responsibilities will be to :

- Develop the business by building new business pipelines

- Manage and lead a team, engage and support each team member, developing the strategies to ensure the team executes against their targets and objectives

- Lead the recruitment and development of the local teams, boosting overall productivity and efficiency and improving conversion rates

- Ensure the team record deal pipeline and deal status accurately. Work with Sales Operations to ensure forecast accuracy.

- Supervise the team's pipeline against the plan, as well as country/geography coverage

- Represent the organization in the marketplace, develop and maintain a network of client/intermediary relationships that will enable a strong, consistent pipeline for conversion into sales

- Drive cross-selling opportunities, working with existing clients as they expand into or operate in other jurisdictions serviced by the organization

Profile:

- You must be a CA with 18+ years of experience in a commercial environment, preferably in professional services/finance/consulting business.

- You have extensive proven experience within the market, with personal market credibility, a solid network.

- You have experience in leading, managing and developing teams to achieve and surpass given targets.

- You have the ability to "solution sell" where the importance to listen to the clients and understand what they really need is more meaningful than a hard sell.
